Craig joined U+I in 2019 to oversee content, with a focus on helping to bring our sites to life through localised opportunities and community-led projects. Prior to joining U+I, from 2014 onwards, he led the Retail division at Argent, directing and managing the leasing of 500,000 sq. ft. of retail, restaurant and leisure space across the King’s Cross scheme, hand picking brands and operators, with a special focus on the Coal Drops Yard project. Prior to King’s Cross, from 2008, Craig was responsible for strategic retail business development at The Crown Estate for both its Regent Street & St James's Portfolios.

Debbie Jackson

Greater London Authority

Debbie is Director of Built Environment at the Greater London Authority. In this role Debbie is responsible for the full range of the Mayor’s statutory Planning responsibilities alongside being the CEO-equivalent for LEAP – London’s Local Enterprise Partnership. Debbie has worked for London Government for over ten years, playing a leading role in delivering positive outcomes for Londoners in partnership with the public, private and third sector. Debbie’s achievements include the development and delivery of programmes such as the Good Growth Fund, Crowdfund London, the Skills for Londoners Capital Fund and Good Growth by Design. Previously, Debbie had roles in regeneration and street environment at Westminster and Lambeth local authorities and has a total of 22 years’ experience of working in London’s public sector.

David Atkins

David Atkins has been Chief Executive of Hammerson since 2009. A Chartered Surveyor, he joined the Company in 1998 from international property adviser DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield). He became an Executive Director of Hammerson in January 2007. He is a Non-Executive Director of Whitbread Group Plc, a past President of Revo (formerly BCSC), a Director and Trustee of the Reading Real Estate Foundation, a member of the British Property Federation Policy Committee and former Chairman of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).

Hammerson create vibrant, continually evolving spaces, in and around thriving European cities, with a focus on flagship retail destinations and premium outlets.  As of 31^st  December 2018, our portfolio of high-quality venues had a value of £9.9 billion and includes 21 flagship destinations, 13 convenient retail parks and investments in 20 premium outlet villages, through our partnership with Value Retail and the VIA Outlets joint venture. Key retail venues include, Bullring & Grand Central, Birmingham; Bicester Village, Oxfordshire; Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet, Lisbon; Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin; and Les Terrasses du Port, Marseille. We manage over 2,000 brand relationships and during trading hours, over 80,000 people visit our shopping centres hourly across our flagship destinations in the UK, France & Ireland.

Graeme Craig

Places for London

Graeme is the Chief Executive of Places for London, the company responsible for the management and development of Transport for London’s (TfL’s) commercial property estate across the capital. Places for London is wholly owned by TfL. Places for London’s portfolio comprises some £2bn of assets, with over 2,000 commercial tenancies, including over 1,000 retail units in and around London’s stations and High Streets and over 850 railway arches. 95 per cent of Places for London’s tenants are Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, making Places for London one of the most important supporters of new business in London. Over the next decade, Places for London will start building 20,000 homes in a multi-£bn programme that will see high-amenity, mid-density, low-carbon homes delivered in dozens of sites across London. Work has already started on sites delivering more than 3,350 homes, with a further 800 homes already completed. Places for London is taking forward this programme with partners including Ballymore, Barratt London, Delancey, Grainger, Native Land and Notting Hill Genesis. Places for London is targeting 50 per cent affordable housing on average across its developments.

Savannah de Savary

Savannah de Savary is the Founder and CEO of Built-ID. After graduating from the University of Oxford in 2013, Savannah joined Thor Equities, where she managed NYC real estate development projects. In June 2015 she founded Built-ID, a proptech platform that showcases the built environment projects of today and transforms community engagement to better shape the projects of tomorrow. Savannah won “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” at the Property Awards and was voted Property Week’s ‘Power 100: Top 20 Ones to Watch’ and one of the Top 20 Proptech influencers in a poll by the UK Proptech Association. She is also a regular columnist for Property Week. Built-ID enables property developers to invest in communities, not just their bricks and mortar. Through a digital platform, residents can influence the built environment projects that matter to them, and be rewarded for their engagement with real donations to local charities within their community.
