Since becoming Chair, Roger has led the LEP through a period of significant transformation, securing the country’s largest Local Growth Deal settlement - bringing in excess of £1bn of investment to the region.
As a member of the HS2 Growth Task Force and West Yorkshire Combined Authority Board, Roger has played a prominent role in shaping the future of the region’s major transport infrastructure. Working in partnership with Civic Leaders, Roger continues to pursue the LEP’s vision to develop the Leeds City Region as an economic powerhouse, creating jobs and prosperity for all who live and do business here; both for Northern and National economic advantage.
Former Senior Partner at PwC Leeds, Roger is an astute, questioning, lateral thinking but practical businessman with strong execution skills and has operated in and managed businesses across the industrial spectrum. He is a graduate metallurgist and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales.
With over 30 years business recovery, turnaround and insolvency experience across many sectors, he has extensive practical experience of dealing with challenging business, financial, operational and sensitive management issues in listed, PE backed and significant family/privately owned enterprises.
Roger has managed change at the highest level of Government, major businesses and companies implementing sensitive projects in times of transition and for long term financial health. Roger has built, led and been a member of cohesive teams delivering impressive results.

Jackie Sadek

Jackie Sadek has over 25 years’ experience in property development, managing large-scale urban regeneration projects and public-private sector partnerships. She is a national spokesperson on regeneration matters, a speaker and broadcaster on regeneration issues. In 2010, Jackie was founder and Chief Executive of UK Regeneration (UKR), an organization developing new models of delivery of regeneration projects with a number of mixed use development pilots in regional cities.
The UKR team continues to run the business, in Jackie’s absence, as she currently holds the position of Specialist Regeneration Adviser in the Extended Ministerial Office of Greg Clark, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.

Paul has over 25 years experience in Commercial Property having operated in the development field since 2007 and prior to that as a Director and Head of Agency for Lambert Smith Hampton in Leeds.
