John has been with Willmott Dixon since 2007 and has over 30 years industry experience in Bristol and the South West. A proud Bristolian, John is passionate about the city and ensuring that Willmott Dixon leaves a positive legacy. John is based in Willmott Dixon’s local construction office in Bristol, where he has overall responsibility for Willmott Dixon’s projects and growth in the Wales & the South West.

TCN UK regenerate unloved buildings and create surprising places. Richard set up TCN UK in 2006 and has grown the specialist creative regeneration business into a national property investment and development company with a portfolio worth £70 million and a gross development value of £110 million. TCN manage a portfolio of 400,000 sq. ft., containing 150 companies, with annual revenues of £6 million. Rich is a recognised industry specialist in property acquisition and development with a particular focus on innovative regeneration.
Prior to TCN UK, he worked for Shaftesbury PLC, DTZ (now Cushman Wakefield), Capital & Counties PLC and Europa Capital.
Louise Swain

Louise has significant leadership experience of working in the social housing sector. She is passionate about delivering homes that are truly affordable to those on lower incomes and services that customers rate as excellent.
Louise has experience of contributing to strategic partnerships and of delivering major change and modernisation projects. Prior to leading Alliance, Louise was Executive Director Customer Services at Curo Group. She’s also worked in a variety of roles for other national and local landlords.
Mayor Marvin Rees

Marvin Rees was elected mayor in May 2016. On that day Bristol became the first major European city to have elected a mayor of black African heritage. He describes becoming mayor as another expression of a deeper commitment to building a fairer, more inclusive world. He is a Yale World Fellow and graduate of Operation Black Vote who has worked and studied in the UK and the US. He is a former BBC journalist, Public Health Worker, voluntary sector manager, co-founder of the City Leadership Programme and has developed the One City Plan for Bristol.

His main focus has been on inner city mixed use urban regeneration with extensive involvement in major schemes in UK locations including Cardiff, Bristol, Plymouth and Gloucester.
Experience beyond in mainland Europe includes Russia, the Czech Republic and the Channel Islands.
He was a Partner at King Sturge and JLL for 30 years including Lead Partner of the Bristol office of King for five years.
Since retiring from JLL he has been involved in Strategic Development Consultancy. He also provides strategic Property Advice to a number of Charities and is a Director of Business West.
