Nigel Holland

In over 20 years that Nigel has been with Taylor Wimpey and its predecessor companies he has held the position of Managing Director at four businesses across the South of the United Kingdom, before taking on his current role as Divisional Managing Director for the South West and South Wales. He is also a member of the Taylor Wimpey Group Operations Team and is the current Chairman of the South West Region of the HBF. Since 2009 Nigel has spoken and represented the position of home builders at a number of conferences and seminars on economic recovery and development. 

David Warburton

Head of Area
Homes & Communities Agency

David Warburton is the Homes and Communities Agency’s Head of Area for the West of England, together with Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, and is responsible for investing in and managing a wide programme of housing and mixed used development schemes, and other land related activity. 

Prior to joining HCA, David worked for the Prince’s Foundation for five years as Director of Development and Regeneration.  He was responsible for creating and leading a team working with a wide range of partners on over 20 large-scale development projects across the UK. Before that, he spent seven years in various senior positions with Lovell, a specialist development company delivering regeneration schemes in complex urban areas by working with local authorities and other partners.  Previously, he worked for Cheshire County Council in economic development and strategic planning.

David is a Chartered Town Planner and has a BA (Hons) Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Town Planning (Distinction), both from Coventry University.  In 2010 he was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

David sits on the Bristol Property Board; is a Commissioner working as part of the Mayoral Housing Commission in Bristol; and a Member of the Gloucestershire LEP’s Investment Fund Panel. 

George Cardale

George Cardale is Head of Residential Development Sales for Savills UK Ltd, specialising in 

the sales and marketing of new build and refurbished property. George is based 

in Bristol but spends time in London and the rest of the UK. His clients 

include House Builders, Developers and Banks. 

He has 20 years experience of selling property, specialising for the last 15 years in the sales and marketing of New and Refurbished properties. George is an expert in advising clients on the most effective mix, size and type of accommodation in order to maximise values. He also has considerable experience in property marketing, specifically selling new build and refurbished property off plan.
