David Atkins
Chief Executive
Hammerson
David Atkins has been Chief Executive of Hammerson since 2009. A Chartered Surveyor, he joined the Company in 1998 from international property adviser DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield). He became an Executive Director of Hammerson in January 2007. He is a Non-Executive Director of Whitbread Group Plc, a past President of Revo (formerly BCSC), a Director and Trustee of the Reading Real Estate Foundation, a member of the British Property Federation Policy Committee and former Chairman of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).
Hammerson create vibrant, continually evolving spaces, in and around thriving European cities, with a focus on flagship retail destinations and premium outlets. As of 31st December 2018, our portfolio of high-quality venues had a value of £9.9 billion and includes 21 flagship destinations, 13 convenient retail parks and investments in 20 premium outlet villages, through our partnership with Value Retail and the VIA Outlets joint venture. Key retail venues include, Bullring & Grand Central, Birmingham; Bicester Village, Oxfordshire; Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet, Lisbon; Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin; and Les Terrasses du Port, Marseille. We manage over 2,000 brand relationships and during trading hours, over 80,000 people visit our shopping centres hourly across our flagship destinations in the UK, France & Ireland.

Her operational experience encompasses both High Street and concession retailing. In 1990 she was instrumental in the launch of a new brand as UK Sales Manager for Genesis and oversaw the opening of 50 outlets within a six month period.
Jeremy Collins
Property Director
John Lewis
Jeremy has over 30 years of experience in property.
Having graduated from Reading University with a degree in Land Management, he spent his formative years in the Economic Development Unit of Wirral Borough Council.
He then moved into the world of retail property, first with Bredero Properties, Grosvenor Square Properties/Associated British Ports, and MEPC. He moved to Lend Lease in 1998 to lead the development of Touchwood Shopping Centre, Solihull, before heading the company’s UK retail team.
In late 2003 Jeremy joined John Lewis as Head of Retail Development, becoming Property Director in 2010.
Jeremy has responsibility for the acquisition of new shops and distribution buildings and the Asset and Property management of the portfolio. The portfolio is valued at over £1.5bn and comprises circa 10m sq ft of retail, offices and distribution floor space.
Jeremy was President of BCSC for 2009.
Paul Wheatley
Global Property Director
Lush
Paul started working with Lush in 2008 as UK & Ireland Property Manager. In 2013 Paul took on a Global Property role, essentially ensuring all international shops were moving as fast as possible to complete Lush's new vision of 1000 shops globally with £1m average sale and 25% profit.
Previous to working with Lush, Paul spent almost 20 years in retail across different roles.
