Claire has been described in the legal directories as a “leader in the field of planning”. She specialises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious planning law. She helps clients on strategy and policy at the inception of a development scheme, planning applications, environmental impact assessment, planning agreements, the community infrastructure levy and appeals and judicial review.
Claire has advised the public and private sector on some of the country’s most notable and iconic development and infrastructure projects. She has featured in The Lawyer’s “Hot 100” and numerous polls of influential people in the planning industry. She is the Vice Chair of the British Property Federation’s planning committee and a member of the Oxford Joint Planning Law Conference Committee.

Jules Pipe is working on key priorities for the Mayor, including: implementation of the London Plan, major and community-led regeneration projects across the capital, building a skills system that properly addresses the needs of Londoners and the economy, and ensuring London’s infrastructure supports good growth, meets the needs of London’s communities and makes London a cleaner, greener and smarter City. Jules has unrivalled knowledge of London government, becoming the first directly elected mayor of Hackney in 2002 and serving as Chair of London Councils from 2010 until he joined the Mayor’s team in 2016.
Sir Steve Bullock

Sir Steve Bullock was elected as Lewisham’s first directly-elected mayor in 2002. He was elected for a fourth term in May 2014. He serves as Deputy Leader of the Labour Group at the Local Government Association (LGA) and is Chair of the Commercial Board. He was elected to the London Councils’ executive in June 2010 and leads on Housing.
Mayor Sir Steve’s local government career started in policy in the then Greater London Council (GLC). In 1982 he was elected on to Lewisham Council, where he served as Leader for five years between 1988 and 1993. He also ran a local Community Health Council and later became non-executive director and then Chair of Lewisham Hospital NHS Trust.
Sir Steve's services to local government were recognised with a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours list in June 2007.
