Mike Hussey

Mike is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is recognised as one of the key experts in the Central London property market. He is a prolific developer, responsible for a number of the landmark schemes built in the capital in the last 20 years. Before founding Almacantar, Mike spent seven years at Land Securities plc, the largest property company in the UK, where he was an Executive Board Director with responsibility for the London portfolio and Strategic Land portfolio. Prior to Land Securities, Mike was responsible for all property transactions at the Canary Wharf Group, as Head of Leasing and Marketing, where his team transacted 9.3m sq.ft (900,000 sq.m). Mike is a Trustee of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Governor of Southbank Centre Limited. He was an Independent Director of Taylor Wimpey plc between July 2011 and July 2018.

David Atkins

David Atkins has been Chief Executive of Hammerson since 2009. A Chartered Surveyor, he joined the Company in 1998 from international property adviser DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield). He became an Executive Director of Hammerson in January 2007. He is a Non-Executive Director of Whitbread Group Plc, a past President of Revo (formerly BCSC), a Director and Trustee of the Reading Real Estate Foundation, a member of the British Property Federation Policy Committee and former Chairman of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).

Hammerson create vibrant, continually evolving spaces, in and around thriving European cities, with a focus on flagship retail destinations and premium outlets.  As of 31^st  December 2018, our portfolio of high-quality venues had a value of £9.9 billion and includes 21 flagship destinations, 13 convenient retail parks and investments in 20 premium outlet villages, through our partnership with Value Retail and the VIA Outlets joint venture. Key retail venues include, Bullring & Grand Central, Birmingham; Bicester Village, Oxfordshire; Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet, Lisbon; Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin; and Les Terrasses du Port, Marseille. We manage over 2,000 brand relationships and during trading hours, over 80,000 people visit our shopping centres hourly across our flagship destinations in the UK, France & Ireland.

Robert Noel

Robert Noel (53) is the Chief Executive of Land Securities Group PLC. Landsec is the UK’s largest listed property company and is a constituent of the FTSE100. It owns over 23 million square feet of commercial floor space and has approximately 1,000,000 visitors to its buildings every day. From 1992 to 2002, he was a Director of Nelson Bakewell Ltd, the property services group. From June 2002 until October 2009, he was Property Director of Great Portland Estates plc. He joined Landsec in January 2010 as Managing Director of its London business and was subsequently appointed Chief Executive from 1 April 2012. Robert is a Trustee of the Natural History Museum and is a member of the Boards of both the British Property Federation (BPF) and the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).
