The ‘Building Back-to-Business’ series. City Focus: South West
The South West is not alone in facing an extraordinary challenge over the last 18 months. The region’s leaders are working to define what the future looks like, rather than be defined by it. In doing so, we hope to see changes that shows the best of the region and draws on its creativity, collaborative mindset and quality places. In our first physical event of the year, we bring together private and public sector leaders, to provide an insight into the South West real estatemarket. In doing so, we’ll look at the opportunities, challenges and plans.
What is happening in the South West Real Estate Market right now?
Our event will provide an update on the South West property market, and an insight into the Government’s agenda for ‘building back-to-business’. Now is the time to be informed and stay ahead of the game!
Economic Recovery & Opportunities to win work!
As the country focuses on economic recovery, where are the opportunities across the South West property market? What sectors are performing best? What is shaping the investment agenda, and where is the money heading? We’ll look at where leaders are successfully bringing forward new developments and laying the foundations for recovery.
People, Homes, Community, Quality of Life…
Building-back-to-business, kick-starting development and driving investment into the South West is imperative. But ‘good growth’ isn’t just measured by an economic parameter. Environmental sustainability, local community and social outcomes, liveability, affordability, quality of life and culture are all critical areas to be valued in by built environment professionals in future. How does this influence the investment agenda and local authority decision-making?
The Future… A ‘Responsible’ Built Environment…
If you want to find out where the opportunities are in the South West, this event will explore the market, investment prospects and the key areas that impact success. Drawing on examples from across the region, we’ll hear from those who are meeting the challenges of providing spaces for people to live and work whilst meeting bold and necessary ambitions for healthy, sustainable and inclusive places.
We hope you can join us on 9 September.
