About Canada Water:

One of the UK’s most sustainable large-scale urban redevelopment projects, Canada Water is a place that benefits everyone.

The Surrey Docks were once the heart of London’s timber trade, a globally important commercial hub. Now the Canada Water masterplan is a new, 53-acre district for central London.

New infrastructure includes around 3,000 new homes, up to 2m sq ft of workspace for 20,000 workers, 1m sq ft retail, leisure and culture amenity, 16 new streets, a new town square, and a 3.5-acre park.

A new place to work in central London, an opportunity for businesses to put down roots and grow, and for London to imagine a cleaner, bluer, greener, kinder, and more beautiful place to be.

A well-connected, exciting place to live with rich culture and heritage on the doorstep.
