As we approach the end of 2021, we’re aiming to finish the year by serving up the best insight into the South West’s residential property market at our next networking breakfast in Bristol.
The South West has demonstrated resilience and is adapting to changes which impact everyone in some ways. How our sector responds will play an important role in helping us to define the future, and not just be shaped by it.
Our next event on 4 November is under the banner of BUILDING HOMES AND COMMUNITIES FOR EVERYONE. The issues covered at this session are critical to helping us define the future we are working towards. How do we deliver sustainable regeneration and residential development that meets the ambition of carbon neutrality? How does this fit with changing lifestyle trends, which accelerated during lockdown? How can we stop the affordability gap from widening? Will customers and communities be involved in this process? We’ll be asking these questions and others at our event in Bristol.
Joining the conversation are four high-profile industry leaders who are helping to address these challenges at every stage, from acquiring sites to developing homes and working to foster successful and inclusive communities. They will give their insights and talk about how their organisations are helping to address these challenges. They include Kelly Hillman Head of Acquisitions of Homes England, Victor da Cunha, Group Chief Executive of Curo, Tim Atkins, Cheltenham Borough Council’s Managing Director of place and growth and Tom Renhard, Bristol City Council’s recently appointed cabinet member for housing.
We’re looking forward to the session and hope you can join us #BackInTheRoom on 4 November. The session starts at 7.30am and includes a full breakfast, panel discussion and an opportunity to meet and catch up with people from across the sector.
