We are delighted to welcome Mark Allan, the new Chief Executive of Landsec (April 2020), to the Movers & Shakers Platform. Mark will share his vision for LandSec - one of Europe’s largest real estate companies. LandSec is on a journey to optimise its central London business, reshape its retail portfolio and grow through urban opportunities across UK major Cities. How will this pan out? Mark brings to LandSec a huge amount of experience and expertise from across a broad range of sectors in the Property Industry; having spent a combined 14 years as CEO of FTSE 250 RE businesses Unite Group (student accommodation) and St. Modwen (regeneration, logistics and housebuilding).
Landsec has a £11.8 billion portfolio that spans 24 million sq ft of well-connected Retail, Leisure, Workspace and Residential Hubs. A significant business by any measure! 67% of LandSec’s portfolio is focused in Central London and comprises large, complex mixed-use developments.

Mark Allan has been Chief Executive of Landsec since April 2020. Prior to that he spent a combined 14 years as CEO of FTSE 250 real estate businesses Unite Group (student accommodation) and St. Modwen (regeneration, logistics and housebuilding). As a result of these roles, he has a broad range of experience from across the property sector.
